Join us for a Beach Cleanup at Sand Island on Sat 5/18. LOCATION: at the Sand Island Launch Ramp Facility (make your first right after the bridge, near Sandbox BMX, look for Surfrider flags)
9:30 – 10am Check in
10am – Noon Cleanup
Noon-12:30pm Photo and Food
Hands Across The Sand is an annual, global day of solidarity to say NO to fossil fuels and YES to clean energy. This event is in partnership with Blue Planet Foundation, who will allow you to take a quick carbon footprint quiz and share updates on clean energy goals for Hawaii!
At noon local time, people around the world will hold hands on a local beach and take a photo as part of this movement.
Hosted by Surfrider Foundation – Oahu Chapter, dedicated to protecting & enjoying our oceans, waves, and beaches.
