Wiley Post is at SW 17th and Robinson. Due to the I-40 relocation construction, you will need to get to the park either by taking EK Gaylord south (turns into Shields) and turning right/west on SW 10th (as of 6-17-10 it's not marked with a street sign) and follow it to Compass Park (north side of street, south side of the river). Park in the circle parking area. Coming from south side of town, take Robinson to SW 17th and turn right/east on 17th and follow it to Compass Park. If you miss 10th street, you can continue to SW 23 and follow it to Robinson and back north to 17th.

What to do at a
Hands Event
STEP 1
Go to the beach at 11 AM in your time zone for one hour, rain or shine.
STEP 2
Join hands for 15 minutes at 12:00 forming lines in the sand against oil drilling in our coastal waters.
STEP 3
Leave only your footprints.
Tips of the Day
- Use only approved beach accesses and parking.
- Create as long a line or as many lines as you wish.
- Be courteous and respectful to those who disagree with your view.
- Please steer clear of bird nesting areas.
- …enjoy yourself, it’s the beach!
