Arrive at 11:45am for a photo at noon. Bring signs if you wish. From the Coop Community Market on Lyme Road, turn onto Reservoir Road, and make your first left at Curtiss and your first right at Woodmore. Park on Woodmore. 2 Woodmore is the yellow corner house.

Meet at 9:30 at the end of Prescott Park and Memorial Bridge on State and Marcy Street. Parking is tough in Downtown Portsmouth so come early and park at the garage or at the Farmer's Market and walk over! Prescott Park is near the Strawberry Bank Historic Area, on the river side.

What to do at a
Hands Event
STEP 1
Go to the beach at 11 AM in your time zone for one hour, rain or shine.
STEP 2
Join hands for 15 minutes at 12:00 forming lines in the sand against oil drilling in our coastal waters.
STEP 3
Leave only your footprints.
Tips of the Day
- Use only approved beach accesses and parking.
- Create as long a line or as many lines as you wish.
- Be courteous and respectful to those who disagree with your view.
- Please steer clear of bird nesting areas.
- …enjoy yourself, it’s the beach!
