Ride your bike or car pool over to Fort Independence at Castle Island or along William J Day Blvd in South Boston-- Also can take Red Line to JFK stop and head toward the Beach and walk toward castle island about .8 miles away or until you see line of people. LOOK FOR BALLOONS to meet up at GAZEBO on Head Island Causeway and we'll spread out from there!

Take the ferry from Boston or Quincy to Spectacle Island, and join hands with us on the beach at 12 noon as we draw a human line in the sand against the expansion of offshore drilling - and in support of alternative and renewable energy.

We will meet at the beach in the parking area near the main entrance at 11:30. For people without a resident sticker, please call: Janis Owens, 781.934.2307. Use Exit 11, Rte 14, on Rte 3 South of Boston. Go through the rotary heading east and bear right on Rte 14 at the police station. Go through the street light at the intersection of Rte 3A and continue along St. George Street to the high school on the left. We would need to meet at the high school at 11:00.

Rt. 128 North to the end. (Do NOT follow 95N at Peabody...instead follow 128N to Gloucester. After bridge over Annisquam River continue following 128 N thru 2 rotaries; after second rotary continue on 128 N thru one traffic light; at 2nd traffic light go left onto Bass Ave. Follow flow of traffic on Bass Ave (it twists and turns) to Good Harbor Beach. Metet on the BEACH SIDE of the FOOTBRIDGE.

Interstate 93S to Exit 12-Quincy. Cross Over Neponset Bridge, staying in Right Lane over bridge to Hancock St. Follow Hancock until Route 3A (bearing left at Veteran's Stadium). Park at Salisbury Beach State Reservation, at State Beach Road and State Reservation Road. Additional parking is at Salisbury Beach Center, around Broadway and Cable ave. The gathering will begin on the State Reservation beach and stretch north.

From Boston/Providence: go over Sagamore Bridge. Take 1st exit. At bottom of ramp (light) take a right onto Rt 6A. Just after you cross into Sandwich (the oldest town on Cape Cod btw) take a left onto Tupper Road. Go straight on Tupper Rd until you come to Town Neck Road on the left. Take Town Neck Road (cross RR tracks) go straight.... follow to end, take a left and your at the beach. $15 beach fee to park. Or, if you can find a spot, park at Horizons by th e Cape Cod Canal.

Nobska Lighthouse. From Falmouth, take Woods Hole Road south, travel approx 4 miles. After you see Sleepy Hollow Inn on right, make next left onto Church St. ~ our beautiful beach is approx 1/2 mile. If arriving from Woods Hole, please consider walking or riding your bike. Please wear blue or green to honor our oceans.
